A letter from Nina Amnesty, Drug Control

Dear Selvi,

We recently asked for your thoughts and knowledge on drug control, an important motion that was discussed at Amnesty International’s Global Assembly this year. We were overwhelmed by the number of you who responded, thank you.

It was very interesting to read through all your comments and we gained some enlightening information on the perspectives from your country. Your views as the International Membership were reflected in our voting.

Your feedback has also been passed onto researchers and policy advisers at Amnesty International, so will also be considered in future work.

All in all, the Global Assembly meeting went very well. New policy positions on Drug Control and on Abortion were adopted, and your views as international members were considered during the discussions.

Unfortunately, due to visa issues, I was the only International Membership representative who could attend the meeting in person, so we agreed our voting positions in advance and in virtual discussions throughout the meeting.

Justice for teenagers from Paniai, Papua - Indonesia dalam topik Internasional

Kemarin Pagi, sebuah surat masuk dalam inbox email, dengan topik Judul yang sangat menarik, karena tentang Indonesia. Bangsa dan Negara, yang aku cintai. Aku tertegun dan terdiam, sampai dengan saat ini aku masih memikirkannya.

Suratnya berbunyi seperti ini :

Dear Selvi,

On eight December 2014, Alpius Youw (18) and three of his teenage friends – Yulianus Yeimo, Apinus Gobay, Simon Degei – were shot dead by Indonesian security forces in Paniai, Papua. Their dreams were shattered at such a young age.

The Indonesian Government must properly investigate this brutality and bring the perpetrator to justice.

This year, the Paniai case is entering its fourth anniversary. However, there has been very little progress. This is just one out of 69 cases of unlawful killing in the last 8 years in Papua in which Indonesian security personnel were involved. The perpetrators of the Paniai’s case are still living freely.

President Jokowi has promised to resolve the case. He only has few months before his term as President is over as election is to be held next year. We can’t afford to wait any longer.
We need to remind him to fulfil his promise in bringing the perpetrators to justice and ensuring the victims’ families are supported.

This all started when a police officer took an offence after being reminded by a group of Papuan teenagers to turn on his vehicle’s lights on the Christmas eve.

He then came back with his colleagues to beat up the kids. When the local community held a peaceful protest the next day near the police station, the security forces opened fire at the protesters, killing the four young Papuan boys.

The government must investigate the Paniai’s case and legally process the perpetrators so that no more lives are wasted.

Aku ingin berbagi untuk bisa memberikan keperdulian kepada permasalahan-permasalahan seperti ini, human rights, bukan hanya pada kasus ini tapi segala hal terkait pelanggaran Hak Asasi masih banyak sekali terjadi di bumi nusantara, bukan hanya terkait dengan lembaga tapi dari setiap diri kita, individu=individu yang harus memulai kesadaran akan hak asasi manusia, dari kelompok terkecil sekalipun.

Kelompok-kelompok kecil, yang akan menjadi pergerakan budaya penghormatan hak asasi yang secara kolektif akan bangkit di muka bumi pertiwi, Indonesia. 

Aku lebih produktif bekerja di rumah

i like working @ home

Aku lebih produktif bekerja di rumah, itulah sebabnya Aku lebih suka bekerja di rumah, dan selalu memilih pekerjaan yang fleksibel dilakukan dirumah.

Pergi bekerja keluar rumah hanya aku lakukan sesekali saja, mengingat budaya lalu lintas di indonesia, terutama jakarta yang sudah sangat padat, waktu yang terbuang karena waktu tempuh perjalanan yang hanya jarak pendek, mengkonsumsi banyak waktu terbuang.


Aku hanya melakukan pekerjaan keluar rumah hanya untuk bagian-bagian yang memang penting untuk dilakukan seperti memberikan pelayanan kepada nasabah merupakan bagian utama, memberikan pelatihan kepada siswa korporasi yang aku bina, mendiskusikan tentang beberapa hal yang terkait layanan konsultasi dan perlu kehadiran tatap muka. atau lainnya yang hanya memiliki bobot yang sangat penting untuk dilakukannya tatap muka.

Aku tidak suka melakukan kegiatan bisnis di meja-meja entertainment, selain dari memberikan entertainment karena apresiasi aku kepada nasabah aku yang loyal. Apalagi melakukan kehadiran karena beberapa pihak yang memberikan entertainment kepada ku.

Aku lebih suka bekerja dan memberikan kontribusi kepada relasi rekanan usaha, dibandingkan mereka harus entertainment aku dengan beragam model kegiatan. Karena dasar aku mau bekerjasama adalah karena aku memang merujuk kepada kondisi perjanjian dan kontrak yang memberikan manfaat terluas bagi nasabah yang aku miliki, sebagai faktor utama pertimbangan aku memutuskan untuk bekerja sama.

Bekerja dirumah, membuat aku lebih produktif. karena aku bisa mengerjakan banyak hal untuk keperluan beragam pekerjaan, aku menjadi bisa mengerjakan untuk perusahaan a, b, c, nasabah, tidak meninggalkan kewajiban aku sebagai ibu rumah tangga, memeliharan suami dan anak, memasakan untuk keluarga dan teman kantor, menikmati bekerja secara online, untuk akun akun website pribadi dan google adsense yang aku kelola serta website lain sehubungan dengan pekerjaan aku sebagai web developer dan operator.



Bahkan aku bisa melakukan beragam kegiatan charity untuk sesama, membina anak-anak yang aku lakukan semampu aku untuk sekolah dan yayasan dan lainnya.

Yang terpenting, aku juga bisa melakukan ibadah lebih baik, serta melakukan upaya menyeimbangkan usaha aku mencari nafkah dan rizki untuk dunia secukupnya dan untuk akhirat aku sebanyak mungkin. Karena hidup di akhirat kelak, merupakan kehidupan abadi yang akan aku miliki sebagai satu-satunya tujuan hidup kita di dunia.

I am me, the way I am..

I want to be the way I am, fearless of anything, enjoy going anywhere, meet any people i like to meet.

Sometimes, i can just choose to have my lunch just in a local street food-seller to enjoy a simple Instant noodle, or just having a closely warmth dialogue with the nannies who always be in a kind of cemetery who always waiting for me, just like as seen as in the picture.

Her Name is "Mak Siwo", the nanny who is widowed already, and i know her long time ago since i was a girl. She already there to maintain my Brother's grave, until my Dad's burred down there, and then followed my Mom.She loves me, as far as i know. and loyal to wait for my coming.

I love to see her smile, every time  we met, then I choose to sit besides her and start to hear her story about the situation she face in life and her daily activities.

She often prays for me, and so do i. Hope we'll meet again very soon and see her always be healthy.

Say No To DRUGS ! Anti Narkoba !

I always teach my son, for not having any involvement of Narkoba and drug matters. I choose to acquaintance him with these kinds of issue, since he is in his elementary school, which i hope much, it will embedded rooted in his life, ever after.

Drugs will damage a generation, children wont ever have good future life, if they use any kinds of drugs in refer to Any Narkoba Designation materials.

We have to avoid our children from these negative effects, control their environment of social engagement in their surrounding.

the above pictures was taken at the Youths Festival 2017 at South Tangerang, as seen, Head of BNN Office for South Tangerang, Bapak AKBP Heri Istu Hariono, S.Si, hand over the Appreciation Certificate of the Anti-Drug Activist to the Head Master of SDN Tangerang 15, Ibu Hj. Lina Nurlia SPd. witnessed by The Mayor of South Tangerang, Ibu Hj. Airin Diani.

The appreciation is not reached in a short time, but there was a duration that we were doing any champaign of Antidurg to students, people and public surround.

I enjoy of educational activities support the children development

I enjoy of educational activities support the children development very much. This photo was taken when I gave speech in the program of Students Ambassadors Inauguration for several issues, such as :

• Duta Adiwiyata (Environmental Ambassadors)
• Duta BNN (Anti Narkoba / Drugs Ambassadors)
• Duta Jurnalis (Students Journalist)
• Duta Seni (Student Artist Ambassador)

I guess, to develop students, needs not quite expensive activities, especially for Government School Institution, not a high-class ones, we have limitation of financial source. 

We can develop independently by our own self power creating useful and positive activities, using our own energy and creativity for this.

and indeed, it gives best results, when it comes to basic needs of the children, composing it into a parents expectations, for the kids to grow.

 In 2017, I support the 2nd Inauguration for the Students Ambassadors, but not only 4 types of Ambassador, there were 4 additional types of Ambassador as follows ;

• Duta Kesehatan Dokter Cilik
• Duta Kesehatan Jumantik 
• Duta Baca / Book Lovers
• Duta Cyber

So at this time there were 8 kinds of Students Ambassador inaugurated by the Mayor of Tangerang City represented by the regional Secretary, Bapak H. Dadi Budaeri, SE. Ak.

I do charity activities

I do charity activities. I like kids very much, and expect they will have good development in grow themselves in this globalization, as there are so many threat they should face.

during the past 6 years, as I was escorting my son study in elementary school, i filled my some spare times handle many activities supporting the School Committee in developing the extra activities program, that could match their development needs.

The School institution I handle is SDN Tangerang 15, where my son goes to study. For me, just like "sambil menyelam minum air". The program I held during the past 5-6 years includes several issues, such as :

• creating activities on how the kids understanding their own Self potential and talent, which sometimes hidden of unawareness. 
• developing their pride and dignity since they are small, and broaden their minds of the professional career they wan to achieve someday
• Increase their positive social culture to this universe, people, environment and etc
• Understanding how many challenge they will face and obstacle would be faced
• Understanding on How danger "Narkoba" influenced their life
• Understanding the positive way in using social media and cyber communication network
• and many others.

all activities were packed into a theory training and implemented into simulation practice, and sometimes a field of Studying Journey or trip.

and i guess, there should not only the kids to be developed, but also Mothers, Mothers play golden role to theirs children development, especially during the Golden moments in a very basic educational phase. I wrote some about this, and also video, as you can see thru my Youtube Channel at listed of menu in the left side of this blog.

I believe, good parenting will build a great nation. and children as the seeds of the next generations, should have more improvements of their ancestors.
